Who is responsible?
BME Data Consulting is the data controller for this playtest email list. Questions, corrections or removal requests: hello@lifeleftonread.com.
What we keep and why
We keep your email address, signup time, optional marketing choice, consent-notice version and expiry date. We use your email to arrange future playtests. Only if you tick the optional box will we also send game news and release updates. Both uses are based on your consent.
How long
Your signup expires two years after you join.
Who can see it
The website runs on Heroku (Salesforce). Signup data is stored with Simply.com, which acts as our data processor. Your data is stored in Denmark (EU). We do not sell the list, use it for profiling, or share addresses with publishers; only anonymous totals may be shared. Your data will never be AI processed.
Cookies and technical information
This signup page adds no analytics, advertising trackers, cookies or browser storage. To prevent abuse, we briefly keep a randomly keyed hash of the request IP in server memory. Hosting providers may process basic connection and security logs.
Your choice, your rights
Email hello@lifeleftonread.com to stop emails, request deletion, correct your address, or request a copy of your data. You can withdraw consent at any time. We normally respond within one month. You can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY, or your local data protection authority.
Please only sign up if you are 16 or older.
